Darts

hMm just had a game of darts with my work mates...

really interesting to learn the art of playing darts...

guess wat... I'd managed to end the game... winning it for my team of cuz hahaha

I guess this is a blessing in disguise... I'm being forced to be the sport rep. and given the committment from my dept. I'd to be involved in all the competition to make up the numbers... but it got me involved in different games and people who are really OnZzZz... they are the fun ppl here...

will miss them when i'm gone...

not bad, my co also recently organised dart session...but i was too self conscious to humiliate myself playing it.

nevertheless, i know how it felt to win for your team...esp when the team relied on your last best performance to beat the other team...i helped my team win the bowling "competition"

Just want to share with you abt my work experience...

I had been drifting along for five years, working in various jobs from customer service, sales, marketing, public relations, corporate communications before I finally landed in a job that I am truly passionate about and where there is a job-skills fit.

My passion for writing was ignited when my essay was published in school magazine. My friends commended me on my writing skills. It was only when my my ex-bosses told me that writing was my forte that I decided to take a bold step forwarding the direction of my dreams, to take a part-time diploma to complement my business degree. Even when I was working at the PR firm, my intrinsic satisfaction was derived when what I wrote was incorporated into the Minister of State’s speech.

I won’t deny that I was in a comfort zone in one company for three years. I was practically in a state of inertia. I refused to budge and I was afraid to venture out into the world of the unknown.

Don’t be like me, don't wait five years to find a career that you are truly passionate about. The effort will eventually pay off. Do it soon, take the initial steps in the right direction, no matter how small.

You need to find out what will give you the greatest intrinsic satisfaction at work. Find out what you are truly passionate about, break free from the chains of your fears and apprehensions and take the intrepid step in the direction of your dreams.

Wish that you will find a career that you are truly passionate about so you can look forward to each new day as a challenge to overcome rather than a chore.
